Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Tina Hsu currently lives and works in Houston, Texas. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on photography and printmaking.

 

As an analog enthusiast, she prints all of her photographs in the darkroom, and each of her prints is a handmade original. She is drawn to the hands-on processes of both darkroom photography and printmaking, valuing the craftsmanship and tactile experience they offer.

 

She currently works out of the color darkroom and printmaking studio at Glassell Studio School.
